Working with the texts for Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Tempest. Using simplified versions of Shakespeare’s plays we will explore William Shakespeare’s stories and language during this 3-day workshop. Through interactive and engaging activities we will be acting out scenes, creating modern adaptations and exploring the themes and characters in these three diverse plays using drama and visual arts to connect with the stories, without being overwhelmed by the original language.
Suitable for all abilities and no experience necessary. Children will be grouped according to Key Stage (1 and 2).
Parents/guardians will be invited to watch a short performance on the final afternoon.
